Qing Ming

Today O5/April/2O14 ~ Qing Ming Festival 清明
The Qingming Festival 清明; Pure Brightness Festival or Clear Bright Festival, or Ancestors Day or Tomb Sweeping Day, is a traditional Chinese festival on the 104th day after the winter solstice (or the 15th day from the Spring Equinox), usually occurring around April 5 of the Gregorian calendar.

The Qingming festival falls on the first day of the fifth solar term, named Qingming. Its name denotes a time for people to go outside and enjoy the greenery of springtime (
踏青 Tàqīng, "treading on the greenery") and tend to the graves of departed ones.

Anumodana:~

諸法因緣生,諸法因緣滅;我佛大沙門,常作如是說。」

Sabbe Sankhara anicca'ti, yada pannaya passati,
atha nibbindati dukkhe, esa maggo visuddhiya.
Sabbe Sankhara dukkha'ti, yada pannaya passati,
atha nibbindati dukkhe, esa maggo visuddhiya.
Sabbe Dhamma anatta'ti, yada pannaya passati,
atha nibbindati dukkhe, esa maggo visuddhiya.

Impermanent and suffering are all compounded things (conditionings) and all formations have the characteristic of impersonality (egolessness). When one perceives this with insight one ends suffering - this is the path of purification.
