Better than ruling the whole world,
better than going to heaven,
better than lordship over the universe,
Reflection
Unconditioned freedom: a quality of being not
dependent on any condition whatsoever. Whatever
the circumstances, fortunate or unfortunate, the
heart remains at ease, radiant clear-seeing,
sensitive and strong. It is a commitment that is
irreversible, unshakable and real; beyond all of
deluded ego's obsessions. To arrive at this level of
resolve requires constant observation of our old
habits, for example: the fondness of being in control
of everything, addiction to passing pleasures,
obsession with power,. We work with what we have.
Each time we find ourselves distracted we refocus
our commitment to the Way.
